Camp Director Jeff Rebholz

Jeff Rebholz was named assistant coach for the Towson University track and field program in October 2016.

Rebholz served as the associate head coach for the men's and women's track and field programs at Carthage College from June 2015 to October 2016. Prior to that, he also acted as an interim head coach and assistant coach, joining the staff at Carthage in July 2010. At Carthage, a Division III school located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he trained and developed all aspects of the men's and women's throwing program. He also organized and oversaw training for multi-event athletes, as well as designing and implementing strength training programs for all events.

In addition to working with the throws and multi-event student-athletes, Rebholz coordinated recruiting efforts and developed a series of annual winter clinics for high school students. He performed administrative tasks such as managing budgets, coordinating travel and updating social media accounts.

Rebholz was named the 2016 Midwest Region Assistant Coach of the Year after coaching 55 NCAA Division III national qualifiers, 15 first team All-Americans, 37 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) champions for throws and nine CCIW outstanding field performers. He helped student-athletes set school records in seven of the ten throwing events while at Carthage.

Rebholz also oversaw seven NCAA Division III national qualifiers, two All-Americans and six CCIW conference championships for multi-events. While he was at Carthage, three school records were set for multi-events.

During his time at Carthage, Rebholz, who earned a master's of science in kinesiology from Western Illinois University in 2009, served as a lecturer for the Exercise and Sport Science Department. He taught courses relating to kinesiology, physical fitness concepts and strength and conditioning. Rebholz created a course titled "Advanced Techniques in Strength Training" for Carthage College.

Prior to joining the staff at Carthage, Rebholz was an assistant coach at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. He trained and developed the men's and women's throws program, along with assisting with recruiting and meet management. Rebholz coached three all-conference selections and one school record performer.

Rebholz also worked at Macomb High School in Macomb, Illinois, from March 2008 to July 2009, serving as an assistant coach for the track and field program. He coached long jump, high jump, shot put and discus. During his time, he guided four state qualifiers and three conference champions.

Rebholz graduated from Monmouth College in 2007 with a bachelor of arts in physical education. He was a two-time All-America selection for shot put and a seven-time national qualifier in various throwing events. He was named Midwest Conference "Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Year" three times.

Rebholz is a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Level I Certified Track and Field Coach. He is also a Level II Certified Track and Field Coach for throws. He received his strength and conditioning specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association for 2009.
